Breaking Ground, Building the Future!

Bastrop County Emergency Services District No. 3 Celebrates Station 1 Groundbreaking
On Friday, October 30, 2026, Bastrop County Emergency Services District No. 3 celebrated another exciting milestone with the official groundbreaking of EMS Station 1!
This groundbreaking represents more than the beginning of construction. It marks another important step in our continued commitment to strengthening emergency medical services and providing reliable, high-quality care to the residents of Bastrop County.
As our District continues to grow following the successful launch of independent EMS operations on October 1, 2026, the development of permanent EMS stations is a vital part of building the infrastructure needed to support our crews and the communities we serve.
Station 1 will serve as an important hub for emergency medical services, housing a District Supervisor, a 24-hour ambulance, a peak-hour ambulance, and a reserve ambulance. This strategic deployment will enhance operational readiness, provide additional resources during periods of increased call volume, and help ensure timely emergency medical response throughout the community.
The new facility will also provide dedicated space for EMS personnel, supporting daily operations, crew readiness, and the District's long-term commitment to delivering exceptional prehospital care.
We extend our sincere appreciation to our Board of Commissioners, District leadership, community partners, and everyone who has contributed to making this project possible. Their dedication and support continue to move our District forward.
This is more than a new station—it's an investment in the future of emergency medical services in Bastrop County.
We look forward to sharing construction updates as Station 1 takes shape!
